Dr. Raymond A. Limber
Dr.  Raymond  A. Limber

Optometrist

He was awarded the Bausch and Lomb Clinical Excellence in Contact Lenses Award for his graduating year. He received his Certification for Ocular Therapeutics from the Oklahoma College of Optometry. He moved back home to Comox and opened his office on Comox Avenue September 6, 1987. He maintains a membership with the British Columbia Association of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association and the North American Honours fraternity, Beta Sigma Kappa.

Dr. Limber believes that an eye examination is much more than correcting blurred vision, but also involves maintaining overall health of the eyes and improving the quality of life of his patients through his dedication to clinical excellence. His professional interests include family vision care, contact lenses and refractive surgery management.

In his spare time, he is an avid fisherman and enjoys cabinetmaking, poker and hockey.

Dr. Philip Seitz
Dr.  Philip  Seitz

Optometrist

Prior to his schooling, he joined a traveling group of optometrists who helped bring eye care to many remote villages in South Africa. After this experience, his sister developed a condition that led to partial blindness which further inspired him to pursue a career in the eye care industry.

Dr. Seitz welcomes patients of all ages and loves to provide an educational experience to help you take your eye health and vision to the next level!

Dr. Jelke A. Hoekstra
Dr.  Jelke  A. Hoekstra

Optometrist – Retired

He began his professional Optometric career near Toronto and owned his own Optometry clinic for fourteen years. He served as an adjunct clinical supervisor for the University of Waterloo externship program in 1985 and 1986. He assumed other supervisory roles, overseeing optometrists in a number of third world humanitarian eye care projects. He moved to the Vancouver area with his family in 1996. He served as the staff Optometrist for Riverview Psychiatric Hospital in Coquitlam for over six years. Prior to settling in Comox, Dr. Hoekstra spent his previous 7 years practicing Optometry in the Okanagan. His professional interests include geriatrics and family vision care. Dr. Hoekstra is dedicated to providing exceptional eyecare.

His personal interests include, running, playing chess and playing the harmonica.

Licensed Optician

Teresa is a Licensed Optician and a Canadian Certified Optometric Assistant. She enjoys assisting customers in making informed decisions for all eyewear needs, from finding the perfect frame to selecting the best lens choice that compliments your personal taste and lifestyle. She will take the time to consult and educate you to ensure you are receiving the best optical option for all your vision needs.

Teresa can also be found operating our onsite edging lab and assisting patients with many other aspects of our optometric practice. Wherever you find her, she is always pleasant and very qualified to assist you.
